in spring of 2026, i took a printmaking class for an art credit. i have since fallen in love with the variation of printmaking that comes without sacrificing reprintability. though the class explored many methods like collagraphs, relief prints, monotypes, and solar plates, i gravitated towards dry point prints. i was fascinated with the accessibility and intuitiveness of it, and decided to pursue it at home, even past the class' end date. intaglio printing is one of my favorite ways to make art now, and i enjoy learning different processes in printmaking. i am more than happy to answer any questions about any printmaking methods, as i find it really intriguing!
